Sizes small, medium and large (see chart below). The orthotic consists of a one piece antimicrobial liner with bilateral dynamic/static stays that lock in 15 degree increments of flexion and/or extension. Attached to the stays are dynamic torsion bands (5 lbs. of pull per band) for low grade stretch.

Use: This product is designed for contracture management, pain management, traumatic brain injury, increased tone, muscle spasm, etc… (See formulary for complete set of ICD 9 treatment codes)

Protocol: Dynamic component of the brace is to be used during therapy treatments. After treatment, the therapist can set the brace, to a static stretch, to be worn by the patient, monitored by nursing. This will ensure the end range from previous treatment is maintained.

PDAC suggested billing code E1800 (113.87 x 12). Rental only.  Must be in POS 33,32, 12 or 54.
